• Design the pre/post farm audit methodology. • Provide technical support for the establishment of new irrigation technology • Embedded Water and Implied Value of Water Study to improve on-farm production . • Provide Farm Gate value study for small farmers . • Develop and review maps, drawings, reports, blueprints and other visual aids. • Project cost estimation using research and software to establish equipment, material and labor needs. • Visit lead farms with to conduct pre-rehabilitation audit- trips to Luxor and Assiut. will serve as hubs to travel to each of the seven sites for the audits. • Oversee the implementation of irrigation system upgrades. • Train the lead farmers in proper irrigation system utilization and maintenance. • Review training materials on improved irrigation and make recommendations on the materials and training methods. • Design and conduct demonstration on drip irrigation for smallholder horticulture in Upper Egypt in cooperation with Egypt FAS Technical Specialists. • Provide ongoing technical assistance remotely to smallholder farmers receiving improved technologies
